Three ways to play

Play online

A quick match with other people. It starts after a short countdown, and bots take any empty seats so there are always at least four players.

Create private game

Your own room with a 5-letter code. Send the link to your friends and choose the rules: starting cash, length, time per move and variants.

Practice against bots

Play alone against 1 to 5 AI opponents, offline. A good way to learn the board before playing with friends.

How to play with friends

Create the room. Open Gran Avenida, type your name, pick a token and tap “Create private game”.
Invite your friends. Tap “Invite friends” and send them the link, or tell them the 5-letter code so they can type it in “Join with a code”.
Set up the game. If you like, tap “Change rules” to choose the starting cash, the length or the variants, and tap an empty seat to add bots.
Start playing. When everyone has tapped “I'm ready”, the host taps “Start game”.

Each player uses their own device, wherever they are. There's nothing to install: just open the link.

How a game works

Everyone starts on Start with 1,500 aurei, the money of Aurelia. On your turn you roll two dice and move around a board of 40 spaces: 22 streets in 8 districts, from the Old Quarter and the Harbor to the Crown and Aurelia Palace, plus 4 stations and 2 utilities.

Buy what you land on. If nobody wants a property, it goes up for auction.
Complete a district to build houses and hotels and multiply its rent.
Trade streets, money and freedom cards with the other players to get the ones you're missing.
Watch out for Jail, taxes and the Fortune and Community cards.
Win by being the last player who isn't bankrupt, or the richest when the round limit is reached.

If your connection drops, reload the page to get your seat back. An autopilot plays your turns in the meantime.
For a shorter game, the host can set a limit of 15, 25 or 40 rounds, or a clock for each move.
